Albury and Hawkesbury tips for Thursday Nov 8

Ric Chapman in Free Tips 7 Nov 2018
  • Confidence: 94% Verry Elleegant; 90% Spanish Poet; 89% Proven Class; 89% Fabrizio

We have two meetings in NSW on Thursday.

Great back up cards for the big Gr 1 Oaks meeting in Melbourne, where, by the way, I think VERRY ELLEEGANT is an absolute special.

But before then we can get a bank with these at Hawkesbury and in the mud at Albury.

Good luck y'all.

HAWKESBURY

Race 3 - 1:55PM MAIDEN PLATE 1500m
Mark Newnham is in good form and presents this 3YO filly PROVEN CLASS for this race. To be fair, she is unproven at this stage of her career having missed a place on debut. But that was in what may be a good city maiden and she was only beaten 2 lengths. This is probably easier and she gets in with half a kilo less as well....plus throw in the fact she is now experienced and a little fitter. Looks the one to beat from HAPPY HUSTLER who is honest.

Race 7 - 4:35PM $150K LADIES DAY CUP 1400m
This is the main race of the day at Hawkesbury and it is a good field. I think FABRIZIO is fit enough to lead them all a merry chase. He will drive to the front from this draw and looks to have the lead on his own. That there is a big help. But more than that, he has had a start this time up when 4th in similar race in town and led until near home before condition gave out. Will strip a lot fitter this time around. Hardest to beat and the one for the quinella is INTERLOCUTER who should be making ground late

ALBURY

Race 3 - 2:20PM MAIDEN HANDICAP 900m
This could be a thrashing. SPANISH POET sat 4-wide all way when 4th when resuming in fast 900m maiden last start. Toffey Miss won it and she can win race 7 this afternoon too. But this bloke looked in need of the run and just kept coming for 4th. I think this is easier and he's drawn close to the fence. Should make a mess of these.
