Sydney jockey Hugh Bowman will lead a team of three Australian riders into Sunday’s big meeting at Sha Tin.

Bowman will head the team consisting of himself, Tommy Berry and Damien Oliver who have all confirmed rides at Sunday’s meeting in Hong Kong.

Champion mare Winx returns to the track in Saturday’s Group Two Apollo Stakes where Bowman will be aboard, then will jet off to Hong Kong later that night along with Berry and Oliver.

Bowman is booked to ride Furore in the Hong Kong Classic Cup which is a major lead-up race to the BMW Hong Kong Derby.

Melbourne jockey Damien Oliver has secured the ride on Solar Patch who will rival Furore in the Classic Cup event.

Meanwhile Tommy Berry will be reunited with multiple Group One winner Pakistan Star who ironically hasn’t won another since Berry was last aboard.

Pakistan Star won a recent trial here over 1000m, beating home Assimilate and the champion miler, Beauty Generation.

Along with the Australian contingent of riders will be champion English rider Ryan Moore who has been booked to ride Conte in the Group One Queen's Silver Jubilee Cup (1400m).

Conte will be taking on Beauty Generation for the second time after finishing three lengths behind grand miler in the Group One Stewards’ Cup (1600m).

The meeting is highlighted with the running of the HK$10,000,000 Silver Jubilee Cup which sees Beauty Generation stepping out of his comfort zone and dropping back to the 1400m trip where Conte is a five-time winner.
