Brave Smash - heavily supported in CF Orr Stks

Punters made a big move for the six-year-old stallion overnight with bookmakers reacting accordingly.

Several big bets saw his price slashed from $21 into $9.50 with TAB.com in response to the big support.

Formerly with the now defunct Weir stable, the son of Tosen Phantom is now in the hands of Newcastle trainer Kris Lees and has come under notice after the recent solid support he has received.

Winner of the Group One Manikato Stakes, Brave Smash resumed from a 10-week let-up and finished second-last in the Group Two Australia Stakes at Moonee Valley however punters feel he will show a big improvement at Caulfield on Saturday.

Other market movers for the $500,000 event include Redkirk Warrior who was as much as $18 early but has come into $11 with TAB.com

The West Australian visitor, Material Man has his share of supporters as well with his opening quote of $31 gobbled up quickly and now the Team Warwick entry is into $15.

Whispering Brook has come in for some attention from $8.50 into $6.50

The Group One event will be run on a dry track and is scheduled to jump at 4:50pm AEDT.
