After a blistering start to the Summer Carnival, trainer Tony Gollan now reveals future plans for his stable.

Brisbane’s premiership winning trainer has landed three stakes races and trained the winners of another three feature events so far in the carnival and is planning bigger things for his empire in the near future but re-locating his stables are not on the agenda.

"There are no plans for that," he said.
"I don't agree that I will dominate the trainers' premiership for years to come here. There are many good trainers in Queensland who keep me on my toes.
"It is why we plan to further upgrade the way we run our stables in the coming years to remain competitive.
"For instance, we have already started an online news report of the stable activities and runners each week.
"There is a plan to be even more involved through digital media."

AAP reports that Gollan is also considering a set-up involving farms which would be linked directly to his stables.

"We should be ready to do that and a few other things in a year or so. The same with a few other ideas we have," he said.

In the meantime, he is totally focussed on the current Summer Carnival where he has no less than nine runners nominated for this Saturday’s Doomben meeting.

Coldstone will line up in the Listed Brisbane Handicap (1600) while Prue’s Angel, Sheiswhatsheis and Of The Day will go around in the Listed Just Now Stakes (1350m).

Gollan is confident all will run well with several of them having their second start this preparation.

"Coldstone was very good when a first-up second and he is out to his best distance at 1600 metres," Gollan said.
"Sheiswhatsheis and Of the Day have both had a first-up run and Prue's Angel was solid last start. They are all suited at 1350 metres."

Gollan has won the past five trainer’s premierships and despite a slow start to the season this year, he has 34 winners to date, 11 ahead of nearest rival Robert Heathcote.
