Race 1 - 1:35PM Metro & Prov Plate 1100m
There probably will be a lot of professional money invested upon VEDDER here and rightly so. He has a lot of speed, is 2nd up, drawn to swoop across and lead on his own and is to be ridden by the provincial gun Brenton Avdulla. Plate conditions suit perfectly as well. looks the winner from OUR DAWN.

Race 8 - 5:50PM BM 64 HANDICAP 1600m
You know I like winning form, it is the best form after all, and horses get used to knowing what to do when they get on a roll. Well ZOFFANY'S LAD has won 4 in a row, yes in the bush but he gets back and just knows he has to finish the race off. Hardest test here but I'm prepared to wager, literally, he storms home again from SOIR DE LUNE. Pace will be on which will help.

Race 2 - 2:25PM Maiden Plate 1608m
You've got to love the improvement curve this mare GOLD TOUCH has been showing. Beaten 4.5 lengths this grade in 1280m race when resuming, then beaten 4 lengths same grade 1400m. Followed that when beaten 2.1 lengths this grade over 1400m, then last start beaten 3/4 length in maiden at Wagga this journey. Will swamp these late and win running away based on that progression chart.
