Neds Stakes Barrier Draw Russian Camelot draws barrier four (PA Images)

The final field and barrier draw have been released for Saturday’s Group 1 Neds Stakes (2000m) at Caulfield with a small field of six to compete for $1 million in prizemoney.

A small field of six runners will face the starter in the Neds Stakes (registered as the Caulfield Stakes) on Saturday with the Danny O’Brien-trained Russian Camelot the headline act.

Four-year-old entire Russian Camelot will be all the rage in the Neds Stakes and the barrier draw wasn’t going to have much of an impact in the small field. Russian Camelot draws barrier four with Damien Oliver to ride. He comes off a victory in the Group 1 Underwood Stakes (1800m) at Caulfield.

Western Australian mare Arcadia Queen chased home Russian Camelot in the Underwood Stakes, finishing third. She draws gate five with William Pike in the saddle.

Humidor was second in the Underwood and has barrier one with Craig Williams riding.

Gailo Chop, Levendi and Harbour Views are the other three runners in the race.
