Darley Sprint Classic Betting Odds 2020
The Group 1 Darley Sprint Classic (1200m) will be run at Flemington on Saturday, November 7. Here are the latest Darley Sprint Classic betting odds.
Bivouac is race favourite to win the Darley Sprint Classic after an excellent second placing in the $15 million The Everest (1200m) at Royal Randwick on October 17. The four-year-old entire continues to race well without winning and gets his chance to win for the first time since capturing the Group 1 Newmarket Handicap (1200m) at Flemington in March.
The enigmatic frontrunner Nature Strip is one of the leading contenders after a disappointing prep to date. The defending winner of the race won the Group 1 TJ Smith Stakes (1200m) in April but three runs since have produced one placing. He was seventh, beaten 3.8 lengths in The Everest.
Four-year-old mare Libertini finished back with Nature Strip in The Everest. Prior to that, she beat Classique Legend in the Group 2 Premiere Stakes (1200m).
Last start Group 1 Manikato Stakes (1200m) winner Hey Doc will be another key runner down the Flemington straight.
Other horses right in the mix are Santa Ana Lane and Zoutori.
