Looking for Kingston Town Classic (1800m) odds? See who the favourites are for the 2022 Kingston Town Classic held at Ascot.

Odds will be displayed as soon as markets are released. Below are the odds and assessment from 2021:

The Grant and Alana Williams-trained four-year-old gelding Western Empire is a dominant $1.40 favourite. His 12 career starts have produced seven wins, including six of them in a line as he captured the Group 1 Railway Stakes (1600m) by four lengths.

The Group 2 WATC Derby (2400m) winner has already won over the 1800m also when capturing the Listed JC Roberts Stakes by three lengths as a short-priced favourite.

William Pike continues his association with the rising star of WA racing and they will jump from gate nine.

Former Railway Stakes winner Regal Power looms as the main danger to the favourite and is a $6 chance. He hasn’t saluted since winning the All-Star Mile (1600m) at Caulfield in March, 2020.

Regal Power has finished fourth at his last two starts and will have Patrick Carbery in the saddle.

The David Harrison-trained three-year-old filly Searchin’ Roc’s is the third elect in the race at $9.50. She won the Group 3 WA Champion Fillies Stakes (1600m) last start.

All other runners are in double figures.
