Kingston Town Classic Betting Odds 2020
The Group 1 Kingston Town Classic (1800m) will be run at Ascot on Saturday, December 5. Here are the latest Kingston Town Classic betting odds.
There is a dominant $2.20 favourite for the 2020 Kingston Town Classic and it is none other than last start Group 1 Railway Stakes (1600m) winner Inspirational Girl. Jockey William Pike gave the five-year-old mare a peach of a ride threading through the field to win easily.
Trained by Grant and Alana Williams, Inspirational Girl has had 11 career starts for nine wins and two minor placings. ‘The Wizard’ will have produce some more magic from barrier 18 but Pike is renowned for his ability to find gaps in Western Australia.
The only other runner in single figures is three-year-old gelding Dom To Shoot who will carry 52kg in the race. Dom To Shoot is $9 to capture the Kingston Town Classic. He was third in the Group 2 WA Guineas (1600m) for trainers Sean and Jake Casey.
Defending Kingston Town Classic winner Kay Cee is a $10 chance. Winning the race as a three-year-old filly with just 50kg last year, the now four-year-old mare will carry 56.5kg. She defeated Red Can Man to win the Group 2 Lee Steere Stakes (1400m) two starts ago before running a disappointing 11th in the Railway Stakes.
The Railway Stakes runner up, Too Close The Sun, is also a $10 chance. A winner of eight from 17, Too Close The Sun won over course and distance two starts ago at Listed level.
Watch Me Dance is next best at $13.
