Moir Stakes Betting Odds 2020

The Group 1 Moir Stakes (1000m) will be run at The Valley on Friday, September 25. Here are the latest Moir Stakes betting odds.

Western Australian mare Fabergino is the $4.60 favourite for the Moir Stakes. A winner of nine races from just 12 starts, the last start Group 3 Northam Stakes (1100m) winner returns to Victoria. She won the Listed Bob Hoysted Handicap (1000m) back in February which was her third consecutive win at Listed level.

The Will Clarken-trained six-year-old mare Bella Vella is one of two horses at $7.50. She captured the Group 2 McEwen Stakes (1000m) at The Valley on September 5. Prior to that, Bella Vella won the Group 1 Robert Sangster Stakes (1200m) at Morphettville.

Three-year-old filly Away Game was fifth in the Robert Sangster Stakes after a long two-year-old campaign that saw the Ciaron Maher and David Eustace-trained filly finish second behind Farnan in the Group 1 Golden Slipper (1200m). She is also a $7.50 chance.

John and Chris Meagher prepare five-year-old mare Pippie ($8.50) who captured the Group 1 Oakleigh Plate (1100m) at Caulfield in February. Since then, Pippie has run fourth in the Group 1 William Reid Stakes (1200m).
