Exceedance has drawn barrier 11 for Saturday’s Group 1 Newmarket Handicap (1200m) at Flemington.

Trained by Michael, Wayne and John Hawkes, three-year-old colt Exceedance will jump from barrier 11 with jockey Dwayne Dunn to ride. Exceedance won the Group 1 Coolmore Stud Stakes (1200m) down the Flemington straight during the spring.

Bivouac was runner up in that event and jumps from seven with Glen Boss in the saddle.

The Ciaron Maher and David Eustace-trained three-year-old filly Loving Gaby has barrier four for the Newmarket.

Black Caviar Lightning (1000m) winner Gytrash has barrier two.
