Saturday’s Group 1 Toorak Handicap (1600m) at Caulfield has attracted 18 nominations.

The Ciaron Maher and David Eustace-trained five-year-old gelding is one of the major nominations for this weekend’s Toorak Handicap. He has won his past two starts, both Open Handicaps over 1600m and 1700m.

Grant and Alana Williams have two horses entered for the Toorak with four-year-old geldings Superstorm and Windstorm.

Superstorm will be looking to get back to his best form with three runs this campaign resulting in three unplaced efforts, the best being a seventh in the Group 1 Turnbull Stakes (2000m) on October 3.

Windstorm was victorious in an Open Handicap (1400m) at Caulfield on September 26.

Peter and Paul Snowden train five-year-old entire I Am Superman who should be a prominent Toorak Handicap player as he shoots for a hat-trick of wins. He won the Group 2 Shannon Stakes (1500m) at Rosehill Gardens on September 26.

Other key horses include Buffalo River, Cascadian, Mr Quickie and Sircconi.
