Toorak Handicap Betting Odds 2020

The Group 1 Toorak Handicap (1600m) will be run at Caulfield on Saturday, October 10. Here are the latest Toorak Handicap betting odds.

Buffalo River is the $3.90 favourite for the Toorak Handicap. Trained by Michael Moroney, the five-year-old American-bred gelding has won six of his 11 starts. Resuming from a spell, Buffalo River was second behind Windstorm in an Open Handicap (1400m) at Caulfield on September 26. Buffalo River carries the lightest weight of 53kg with Craig Williams riding from barrier five.

The Ciaron Maher and David Eustace-trained five-year-old gelding Junipal finished third to Showmanship in a Benchmark 84 Handicap (1400m) on August 15. He then won an Open Handicap (1600m) at The Valley on September 5 followed by an Open Handicap (1700m) victory at Caulfield on September 26. Junipal is the $4.80 second favourite.

I Am Superman is an $8 chance as he chases three straight wins. He captured the Group 2 Shannon Stakes (1500m) at Rosehill Gardens on September 26.

Superstorm ($9) was runner up in the Group 1 Australian Guineas (1600m) behind Alligator Blood and then second to Regal Power in the $5 million All-Star Mile (1600m) earlier in the year. Three runs this campaign have resulted in three unplaced efforts and he will be looking to bounce back to some form.
