A horse that has been knocking on the door for a win is BABYFACE ADDA who has been placed at his last three starts. Three starts ago Babyface Adda was beaten 3.5m by Howard Hughes which is excellent form for this race. He then finished 4.7m behind Bracken Sky when copping a flat tyre at the 400m mark. The last time Babyface Adda won was in November when leading all the way as a short-priced favourite. This is a tougher race but should go close tonight.

Tonight’s FFA contest over the staying distance may look more like a trial than a race for odds-on favourite Patronus Star who can lead and dictate as he likes. There doesn’t appear to be any pressure at all in the race which will suit the Debbie Padberg-trained six-year-old gelding BRACKEN SKY just fine. He will be able to follow the favourite throughout and look to hang on for a placing. Three starts ago he finished over the top of them in easier grade; looks a strong place chance tonight.

A competitive race over the longer journey where Fifty Five Reborn will try and hold up. She raced roughly two starts ago which meant she was crossed and there could be some early speed with Shadow Roll and Roll With Me possessing gate speed. ROLL WITH ME didn’t have much luck last start and prior to that was third behind Antero from the death seat. Shannon Suvaljko knows the horse well and has options from barrier four. Should be fighting out the finish.
