Here are our Clare Tips:

MULLAGHMORE is being given every opportunity to pick up a win here for his Dare To Dream Syndicate owners. Trainer Chris Beig has him traveling this time in. Mullaghmore was our Video Watch horse for our Saturday review two runs back. Trapped 3WNC over the 1550m in town, he picked up the bit to keep grinding his way into it. Since followed up with another game effort in town last Saturday. Just didn’t find a whole lot of room into the straight. Racing like he wants further, and gets his chance today.

ARABIAN DAWN showed us plenty with her only few runs during her first prep. Generally shows decent gate speed which may help her to over-come the visitors draw now. Stuck-on okay behind the handy stable mate in Sidestep at her debut run. She then served it up for a long-way to Celine at Balaklava over the 1200m, before she’d had enough. Has since been around a year off the race scene following her effort at Gawler behind Cartier Tiara. She was deemed as lame by the vets that day and now Arabian Dawn is finally back again. Jumped out really well at latest and ought to be well-respected in this.

CENTRE SCOOTA received good backing when having his first look at the Clare racetrack. He got a mile back early before building into it well on the turn. The winner, Sir Johnson had the sweet run behind the speed early and raced clear to prove too good. Centre Scoota was best of the rest as he chased gamely into second. Since became badly held up at Balaklava, only gaining some clear room inside the last 100m. He’ll likely get back again, while the middle draw should suit as he stalks what looks to be a good speed. Will be better for already having the one run here on this tricky circuit.
