Here are our Cootamundra tips for today:

Wagga-based galloper NATS ENOUGH (best odds $8.50 with bet365) has found his mojo and looks nicely placed here to go back-to-back today. Last start, the Bullet Train gelding finally broke through for his maiden win over 1200m on a heavy Wagga track. From gate 11 (of 12), Damon Budler rode him a treat which saw him go on to win by a length on the line. He ran the trip, 9.6 lengths slower than benchmark, the equal-best here and set a new personal best as well. He maps to settle mid-field with cover and should get the last crack at them in the run home. Seeing the ‘Coota’ track for the first time, he looks great value in this event.

In great touch this time in, OH NO NIKKI (best odds $2.70 with bet365) comes in nicely at the weights here and will take beating today. Last start, the Japanese sired gelding Came off back-to-back wins from his first two starts this preparation when he just fell short of making it a hat-trick at Albury. Sent out an odds-on favourite, he took on a Class 3 field over 1175m and looked home until he was grabbed by a swooper right on the line. He ran the trip, 5.6 lengths slower than benchmark a new personal best for him and the best in this line-up. Brodie Loy sticks with him here and in his current form, he looks the testing material.

A competitive field lines-up here for the Cup with the Luke Pepper-trained ZOUNIQUE (best odds $6 with Sportsbet) looking a little over the odds and looks in the mix to take home the trophy. Last start, the Zoustar gelding came off a good win in a BM66 at Nowra with (Brodie Loy aboard that day) before he took on BM64 company over 1500m at Goulburn. Carrying 60kgs, he drew wide (gate 9 of 12) and settling last, gave them too much start and despite finishing well, had to settle for fifth place, beaten just over two lengths that day. Today, he gets the gun-run from barrier one and is reunited with Brodie Loy who steered him to that Nowra victory. A three-time winner at the mile already, he will be storming home and should prove hard to hold out at great odds.
