Here are our Moe race tips:

After the early scratching of Yulong Island, I am pretty keen on a bit of a speculative bet on MNEMBA in the opening event of the day. The Michael Kent-trained mare comes off a long break that stretches out over a year but showed a bit in her two runS, which were at Moe in the spring of 2019. She led them up on debut before just going down in the last 50m of the race. At her second start, she was slowly out before settling at the tail and the daughter of Helmet then ran on strongly in the closing stages. She went five lengths faster than standard benchmark over the last 600m of that 1100m race en route to going just two lengths slower than overall figures. That is four lengths faster than what any rival has produced in their careers. While she is a risk after such a long break, the talent is there and she is in astute hands. The $12 on offer is appealing.

Best bet comes up in Race 5 of the afternoon and it is ANIRISHMAN that can get the job done for the Maher/Eustace camp. The promising gelding has won two of three starts and steps up to BenchMark 64 level after easily taking out a BM58 at Kilmore on October 30. On that occasion, the son of Anacheeva led them up at a solid clip and was strong to the line, going more than three lengths faster than standard benchmark, which are the best last start figures of any runner. He will have to do it with the hefty impost of 61.5kg but he has drawn perfectly in barrier 2 and can lead or take a sit with Ben Allen on board. He is the one to beat.
