Here are our Murray Bridge tips for today:

Handsome chestnut BELVIDERE PRINCE (Best Odds Currently $13 with Bet365) looks the best of the raced brigade. Think he’ll enjoy coming back to the 900m, and he’s got the size of a Gifford Hill horse. Don’t mind him being drawn out a touch here either, he’ll be free to use that big stride of his. Inclined to hang a bit on debut at Balaklava on the Heavy track, he did also knock-up inside that last 100m. Showed good speed again at Morphettville, also over 1050m. That race of So Say Angel’s will work out to be a good form race too. There are some nice-looking debutantes to kick off here, Belvidere Prince however holds some ability too.

Jason Holder takes the ride on LA RAPIDE (Best Odds Currently $13 with Bet365) for Andrew Clarken. She’s been mixing her form a bit, and can step slowly out of the gates. Still really liked her win to break the maiden here last prep. That was over this trip too, and had a touch of dominance about it. Since resumed in a good race here, missing the kick and blowing her chances. Ran on okay up the middle, just wasn’t going to challenge the likes of Kishstar. Will be putting a line through her latest effort at Gawler when racing second-up. The track was rated as a Heavy 10 that day, and all her better runs have come on firmer going. La Rapide gets that today, and she’s worth a look at the price.

Trainer Bill Bogarts seems to be scratching his head a bit with FIGHT FOR FREEDOM (Best Odds Currently $5.50 with Ladbrokes). The horse seems to have come back in great form this prep, just hasn’t been able to secure that win on the board. The blinkers go on, which he hasn’t worn since early into his first prep. Actually, he found immediate success when the shades were removed again. Todd Pannell goes on too, replacing Jake Toeroek. If anything, Jake may have been just getting there a little too soon in his races. We’ll see if any of these changes make a difference, as Fight For Freedom is on his last chance with us. He’s probably better with some cut in the ground, still like the formula of coming back slightly in trip.
