SUPRINA gets her chance to break the maiden tag in Race 4 of the afternoon. The Anthony and Sam Freedman-trained filly has bumped into some start ones in her career so far and has placed in three of six. She set a fast tempo when leading over the 1200m last time at Mornington and was a bit of a sitting duck in the straight when overtaken by the handy Licciardi, finishing 3rd to that horse. At her last campaign she was runner-up to Immortal Love when second up before again landing in that slot the third up at Cranbourne over the 1000m. Her best runs have seemingly come over that distance and she has drawn to box seat from the inside gate.
