More seconds than a stopwatch? Palmerbet have just launched their latest betting product, the Bookie Bag, containing a number of punting perks to give you an edge on your best bets – none more valuable than the Race Rescue, saving racing punters from those bad beats.
With a super competitive day’s racing at Eagle Farm on Saturday, headlined by the Group 2 Dane Ripper Stakes (1300m), and we’ve ripped into the form to find punters a couple of runners shaping up as prime Race Rescue candidates.
Beaten in three photo finishes this prep, Baccarat Baby has her foot heavily on the till. The market fancied her on all of those occasions, particularly the last two where she started favourite both times.
Freshened up with four weeks between runs, she drops back to the 1400m where she has a strong record of 5:1-2-0.
If Michael Hellyer can find a spot for her from barrier 10, in behind a genuine tempo, she’s a good chance to be hitting the lead at some point in the straight.
If you’re in her camp on Saturday, keep a Race Rescue token handy for that extra peace of mind.
This Snowden trained mare is in fine form and finally gets a race that maps to suit. She resumed at Randwick over 1200m with a strong second behind Snitz – a race that has proven to be a good form reference with Snitz subsequently winning and placing in two separate Listed races.
Jen Rules then ventured up to Queensland for two more placings, hitting the line hard in races where she found herself too far back off slow tempos.
From barrier 2, she’ll be near the back again on Saturday – but the leaders in this one are likely to go a few clicks faster up front, and you can bet Jen Rules will be launching at them late. At double figures, she’s a guaranteed bet. It’s just a matter of whether she arrives in time – use Race Rescue to eliminate those fears.
