Race 2 - COVENTRY STAKES (1207m) 23:35
Best Value 💰No. 2 BERKSHIRE SHADOW $13 Bet Now!
BERKSHIRE SHADOW beat Gisburn on debut at Newbury and that galloper franked the form with a win next time and is a $7 chance here. Berkshire Shadow was very slow to begin and settled a long way back before building strongly late and coming home the winner. The step up in trip should suit and the time figure of the race compared with 0-105 handicap matched up well for a debut performance. He is, as are most, entitled to improve considerably.
Race 3 - KING'S STAND STAKES (1005m) 00:10
Best Value 💰No. 5 KINGS LYNN $17 Bet Now!
Battash will prove hard to hold out, but KING’S LYNN is improving with each start and looks a big price here considering he should stay further than this 1005m trip – and you may just need that with the likely quick early pace on here. King’s Lynn has had eight starts and keeps improving while the return to a faster surface should also suit. The market may have underestimated his chances here.
Race 7 - COPPER HORSE STAKES (2847m) 02:40
Best Value 💰No. 8 THRONE HALL $10 Bet Now!
THRONE HALL can take the improvement needed as he steps up in trip from 2057m to 2847m after lacking the pace last time. He looks the type to potentially become an Ebor horse or even perhaps even a group horse. He is so lightly-raced and has achieved a great deal in a short space of time, and he does have the scope to improve again here with a strong pace likely to suit him very well.
