Aaron Hamilton

Although an AFL fan (Adelaide Crows), Aaron’s main passion in life is horse racing and, having always been too big to be a jockey and knowing nothing about training horses, he decided to enter the racing industry as a racing journalist.
Currently completing a BA in journalism at the University of South Australia, he has previously written for Winning Post and The Races magazines and is now the racing correspondent for Bettingpro.com.au. He has also worked as a racing official for the past three years for Thoroughbred Racing South Australia.
Aaron has a great record in the Melbourne Cup having picked 10 out of the last 12 winners (he missed Efficient and Viewed) and lists Lonhro as his favourite horse of all time. His racing career highlight was getting to walk Black Caviar after her win in the Group 1 Goodwood Handicap at Morphettville.
