Race 2 No. 1 ALL SASSED UP – ($3.30)
ALL SASSED UP can break the maiden in Race 2 of the day at Bendigo. The Mick Price & Michael Kent Jnr-trained galloper has had the four starts for three minors and did a few things wrong when resuming in a stronger race at Sandown behind Bistro before heading to Kilmore on February 7 and narrowly missing over the 1107m behind Tanto. She settled handy that day and was a bit wobbly in the straight before going down in the shadows but putting a gap on the 3rd placegetter. This looks no harder and early market support suggests she should be tough to beat.

Race 7 No. 1 ARTERO – ($6)
ARTERO can just about make it back to back wins when he steps out in Race 7. The former NSW galloper was sent to the Anthony and Sam Freedman stables and stepped out at Geelong on January 29 where he looked to be in need of the run. He then showed solid improvement at Benalla on February 14 over the 1606m when he was strong to the line, winning by nearly two lengths from Dexa Bill. The son of Flying Artie sticks to the 1600m and John Allen sticks on board.
