BEST BET 🏆   

Race 6 No. 3 DEMON BLOOD- ($2.70) 

This looks to be a suitable assignment for DEMON BLOOD. The five-year-old has been knocking on the door at his last couple of runs, placing in both of those. After placing 3rd over the 1100m at Ararat, he stepped out over the 1000m at Bendigo on March 21, finishing a narrow runner-u- behind Tori’s Dee. He was three wide without cover in that race and was hampered at the 100m before being unable to reel in the winner, putting a five-length gap on the rest of them. This looks slightly easier if anything and with even luck from the inside barrier, the son of Star Turn should be hard to beat.

Race 8 No.2 MI SCUSI – ($6) 

MI SCUSI can go close in the final race of the day at Echuca. The Greg Eurell-trained galloper dropped to this grade at Kyneton on March 19 and worked home strongly to place 3rd behind Geraldine’s Jewel. He produced the fastest last 400m in that race. A slight firmer in the early betting, the son of Your Song just needs an even tempo here and can run over the top of them late in the piece..
