Race 4 No. 6 GENRICHERO ($3) 

GENRICHERO can get the job done in Race 4. The Matt Laurie-trained galloper has had just the one career start and that came at Mornington on January 7 over the 1200m. They crawled early on in that race and the leaders were suited but he stuck on for 3rd behind Hello World, running slick time over the last 600m. The son of Proisir gives the impression that the step up in distance will suit. Luke Currie jumps on board.

Race 5 No. 3  PARTY AT ARTIE’S  ($) 

PARTY AT ARTIE’S can be an improver when he steps out in Race 5. The locally-trained galloper needed the run first up at Yarra Glen before heading to Seymour and finishing 9th in a BenchMark 64. He was hampered in the middle stages of that race but was ok in the last 400m to land less than three lengths from the winner. He drops in grade for this and at his third run last time, the son of Artie Schiller improved to run 4th in Listed grade at Morphettville. 

BEST VALUE 💰  

Race 6 No. 6 MAGNACE ($) 

MAGNACE can go close in Race 6. The Danny O’Brien-trained galloper comes into this second up and worked hard out wide to lead at a hectic tempo at Yarra Glen over the 1514m on January 4 before fading late into 6th position. He will strip fitter for this and shouldn’t have to work as hard in the early stages this time around.
