BEST BET 🏆

Race 3:  No.2  HEIR JORDAN

Nowra-based galloper, HEIR JORDAN returns from a city mission here and in consistent form this time in, looks a genuine winning chance in this contest. Last start, the Spieth gelding had his first crack in city-class company where he finished mid-field in a Class 3 Hcp over 1800m at Randwick. Jay Ford rode him that day and makes the trip south here to steer the ship again. This looks a more suitable challenge for the four-year-old as he steps up in distance today. He will settle back in the field and should be doing his best work late.

NEXT BEST 🥈

Race 4:  No.5  SUPER SPROCKET

The Jamie Stewart-trained SUPER SPROCKET is third-up today and should be ready strike in this contest. Last start, the Super One mare faced her first heavy track and did well to take home third prize in the Class 4 event over 1200m at Bathurst. She drops in class today and has Nick Heywood backing-up for the ride. Fitter for those two runs back and placed when third-up last preparation, she boasts a 64% strike rate for podium finishes to date and in the open affair here, she can give this a real shake today.

BEST VALUE 💰

Race 6:  No.6  SASS ‘N’ CHEEK

Locally-trained by Pat Murphy, SASS ‘N’ CHEEK is third-up today and ticks enough boxes here to suggest she is a worthy contender for the main prize in this contest. Last start, the Xtravagant mare showed plenty of improvement when second-up to grab third prize in a BM60 over 1000m at Canberra. Louise Day was aboard and steers the ship again for this assignment. Back on home soil today and already a winner when third-up, she can get the job done here at odds.
