John Size saddles-up BEAUTY INFINITY here who has missed a podium finish just once in seven race starts and looks well placed here to register another one in this contest. Last start, the Toronado gelding beat all but one home in a Class 3 Hcp, here over 1200m. Settling mid-field with Zac Purton aboard, he was spotting the race leader (Harmony N Blessed) six lengths un the turn and was just unable to make up the ground in time. Purton sticks with him tonight and settling a little closer here, he can turn it around and take home the spoils with clear run to the line.

Race 5:  No.4  WINGS OF WAR

The Douglas Whyte-trained WINGS OF WAR is yet to miss a podium since joining the stable and looks well placed here to bring his first win in over two years. Last start, the Dark Angel gelding came within half a length of victory when finishing second in a Class 3 Hcp, here over 1200m. Not disgraced that night, it was a mighty effort to finish second against a time of 1:09.9, where he took the turn wide and covered some ground before finishing off down the middle of the track. Drawn nicely in gate four tonight, Harry Bentley sticks with him here and with a trouble-free run, looks every chance to grab that illusive win in this contest.

Race 9:  No.4  RED HARE KING

The Tony Cruz-trained RED HARE KING is high flying at the moment and after six-straight podium finishes at Happy Valley, he looks all set to make it seven tonight. Last start, the So You Think gelding came off back-to-back minor placings when he broke that trend by returning to the winner’s circle with victory in a Class 3 Hcp over 1650m. Matty Chadwick returned for that ride and recorded his second win with the four-year-old. He sticks with him tonight and is well looked after drawing gate four for this assignment. He carries 58kgs here but has carried 60kgs to victory previously. He has two wins and five minor placings from nine starts at the track and distance and with a trouble-free run here, another victory looks more than possible tonight.
