Race 5 No. 2 ZAMBEZI KHAN- ($1.96) 

ZAMBEZI KHAN should be ready to fire at her third runs back from a spelll. The three-year-old was ok when a tad luckless first up when tackling the 1400m at Sandown before settling last at Geelong and working home strongly to place 3rd over the 1500m behind Lucky Compass. The daughter of Mongolian Khan gets out to the 1900m and was a winner at this stage of her last preparation when rising in grade.

Race 2 No. 4  CORONATION DRIVE- ($2.05) 

CORONATION DRIVE should be hard to beat in Race 2. The Tony & Calvin McEvoy-trained galloper was last of the six runners on debut at Sandown but was not disgraced, landing just under four lengths from the winner, Etincelle, in a bunched finish. He settled back in that race and stuck on to go four lengths slower than standard benchmark, which is more than six lengths better than the next best last start benchmark figures of any runner. This is a much weaker Maiden and he draws well in barrier 5 with Harry Coffey to ride.
