Race 3 No. 6 LIBERATED GIRL – ($2.90)
No reason to suggest why LIBERATED GIRL can’t make it back to back wins when she steps out in Race 3. The Peter Moody-trained galloper was posted wide at the track and trip two starts ago before running 5th. She made amends for that defeat last time by sitting on the speed and scoring from Hard Squeeze. The daughter of Iffraaj is fit and firing and Jamie Kah stays on board. The pair draw barrier 3 and should be in it for a long way.

Race 2 No. 2 ALPHAVILLE – ($3.90)
ALPHAVILLE seems to be thriving with racing at the moment and can go close to chalking up another win when he steps out in Race 2 of the evening. The Julius Sandhu-trained galloper was a winner at Mornington two starts ago before rising to this grade at Moonee Valley on February 10 and finishing runner-up behind Aspen Colorado by the barest of margins. He was held up at a vital stage that night before missing out in a head-bobber. The son of Tavistock went 2.3 lengths faster than standard, which is the best last start figure of any runner. The 3kg claimer, Celine Gaudry, rides and shoots at 28% for the stable.

Race 8 No. 4 NO WAY EVER – ($6.50)
NO WAY EVER can close off the evening with a win. The Maher/Eustace galloper was a winner ahead of Unflinching at Sandown two starts ago before running 5th behind Tycoon Humma at that venue over the 1000m at her latest. She just lacked the dash late over the shorter trip but did manage to go 5.6 lengths faster than standard benchmark, which is the second best last start figure of any runner, behind Kooled. That horse resumes from a spell. No Way Ever produced her peak at her fourth run last time and gives the indication the 1200m should suit. Carleen Hefel rides and claims the 2kg. She is two from six for the stable, providing a 63% profit on turnover for punters.
