Returning to the country scene today, he also drops in class and distance which looks more suitable for him. Shaun Guymer steered him to a podium finish two starts back at the Sapphire Coast and returns here for this assignment. Nicely drawn in gate five, He looks more at home today and should prove hard to hold out today.

The Tash Burleigh-trained FLYING FLOSSY is second-up today and boasts a resume that suggests she is in this contest up to her eye teeth. Last start, the Top Echelon mare resumed after a six-month absence and finished strongly to grab third prize in a Class 1 Hcp over 1300m at Canberra. Beany Panya was aboard that day and sticks with the mare for this assignment. This event is a little easier today as she gets the gun-run from gate one and maps to settle better than mid-field, on the fence. Last start, the More Than Ready gelding rang-up career-win number five when he clobbered a BM60 field over 1000m at Canberra. Nick Heywood rode him for the first time that day and steers the ship again in this contest. He has very good early gate speed and maps to be up the front on settling. He is well seasoned this preparation and has the runs on the board. A trouble-free run here can see him in this finish at odds today.
