Race 5 No. 10 CHIARO DI LUNA- ($3.50)

This looks to be the one for CHIARO DI LUNA to chalk up the first win of her career. The filly from the Simon Zahra camp has had the four career starts and led over the 1400m here on February 23 before just going down late behind Shezatempest, running 3rd. She worked to hold the lead from the inside barrier that night and went 2.7 lengths slower than standard benchmark, which is six lengths better than the next best last start figures of any runner. She draws wide this time around and might be ridden a tad more conservatively.

Race 8 No. 8 TITAN OF CHOICE – ($6)

The final race of the evening is a BenchMark 64 over the 1600m and one that can close off as a winner is TITAN OF CHOICE. The Peter Gelagotis-trained galloper has been edging closer of late and settled handy last time before sticking on well for 3rd over the 1400m here behind Hughes. The four-year-old was strong from the 400m to the 200m before just peaking late. He comes in with extra fitness now at his fourth run after a long break and was solid when 3rd behind Saint Tropez at a similar stage of his last preparation. Jamie Mott rides and strikes at 20% for the stable, providing a 13% profit on turnover.
