Race 2 No. 3 DO YOU DEAL- ($3.45) 

DO YOU DEAL can go one spot better than a debut effort that saw her finish runner-up behind Zoomed on March 28. The six-year-old finally made it to the track that nigh and was specked late in the betting before settling back in the field of 10. She worked into it as they cornered and produced the fastest splits from the 800m to the 200m to hit the lead a fraction early before being bloused late. The daughter of Dundeel will be better for the experience and went 4.3 lengths slower than standard, which is a better figure than what any horse in this race has produced.

Race 8 No.8 ERSA- ($6.50) 

ERSA can end the night a winner. The Team Hayes galloper has shown a bit of promise in her career and claimed a Maiden at Ballarat last spring before going on to place 4th in the Group 3 Carbine Club Stakes (1600m) at Flemington. She resumed at Sandown in a BenchMark 64 on March 20 and settled handy before just fading late to place 5th behind Lady In Pink, pulling up with a slight issue. Second up last time, the daughter of Lonhro improved nine lengths on benchmark figures when going from a 12th at Sale to a two-length 5th at Sandown. She then claimed her Maiden by nine lengths. This looks within her grasp.
