Race 5 No. 3 TICK TOCK BOOM – ($6.50)
TICK TOCK BOOM can just about make it a hat-trick of wins when he steps out in Race 5 of the evening. The Julius Sandhu-trained galloper looks to have turned the corner of late and claimed a 0-58 race at Geelong two starts ago before stepping out at the track and trip, coming from well back to arrive in time to defeat Adament. He went 4.9 lengths faster than standard benchmark, which compares very well to his rivals here. Beau Mertens will settle back from the barrier and the pair should be strong late in the piece.

Race 8 No. 11 AEECEE SUPREME – ($12)
This looks to be a suitable assignment for AEECEE SUPREME. The mare from the Dylan Dunn stable drops down from BenchMark 64 and was excellent behind Riverlate when resuming at Sandown before getting back in slowly run races, finishing 5th over the 1400m at Cranbourne behind Lady Adelaide in the most recent of those. This is an easier assignment and the step to the 1600m looks like it will suit.
