Race 7 No. 1 I’M INNOCENT- ($8)

I’M INNOCENT can turn things around on the Synthetic. The four-year-old hasn’t done much in his three runs this time in and didn’t see out the 1400M on the Pakenham turf on April 20. But he was excellent the last time he tackled the Synthetic, winning back in October last year by more than two lengths from Beautrooper. The return to the 1200m suits and Thomas Stockdale will look to push up from the barrier.

Race 5 No 11  NATIVE GIRL- ($8)

NATIVE GIRL is not without a chance in Race 5. The Charlotte Littlefield-trained galloper has placed at her past three starts and was posted wide without cover before sticking on for 3rd over the 1728m at Sale on April 23. She gets back to the 1400m and her only win came over the trip on the Synthetic at Pakenham last year. The daughter of Tivaci should enjoy a nice run from barrier 2 and will be ridden by Carleen Hefel, who has provided a 43% profit on turnover for punters from her past 100 rides.
