Race 1 No. 2 FOX DUNNETT – ($4.20)
Local trainer Darryl Carrison has FOX DUNNETT dual engaged for home and Murray Bridge this weekend. We really don’t want to miss this horse in whichever race he chooses; however, we believe he’ll be keen to win one on Port Lincoln Cup Day. Loved the way Fox Dunnett hit the line late over 1000 metres behind Justica’s Bonus at Murray Bridge. Followed with another strong run-on over 1250 metres on the tighter Parks track. Sent forward by Sheriden Tomlinson as the pair scored a runaway maiden win over 1350 metres. There’s plenty of pressure up top in this for Tomlinson to stalk, and Fox Dunnett will be finishing strongly.

Race 5 No. 5 SINO WITNESS – ($4.80)
Anna Jordjso can enjoy the run of the race aboard SINO WITNESS for local trainers Julie Branford & Hayley Dorward. Callan Murray rolled forward from the outside gate with Sino Witness to sit outside the plonk horse Miss Parmigiana here two back. Sino Witness had shrugged that horse off into the straight before being claimed late by Vancouver Velvet. Sino Witness finds a two-kilo weight swing on that horse while also finding a cozier pace-map on paper. The combination of Jordjso with Branford and Dorward can build some momentum here before they contest the feature with a major chance later in the day.

Race 3 No. 7 PERFECT COMMAND – ($6.50)
We chose to bet around hot favourite Centerfield with PERFECT COMMAND here two back and got the rewards. Brenton Jones has Perfect Command racing well in Adelaide, including a recent win over this trip in town. Teagan Voorham poured the pressure onto Centerfield early with Perfect Command who found plenty of chinks in her armor prior to straightening. This field holds more depth; however Perfect Command comes back from another solid run in town while faring better again from the barrier draw. There should be some good pressure in front of Perfect Command with Teagan poking up in the middle to receive the run of the race.
