The Chris Waller-trained LOUISVILLE continues on his merry way and looks set for another top-two finish here. Last start, the Redwood gelding ending a hat-trick of runner-up finishes by taking out a BM78 Hcp over 1800m at Rosehill. Sam Clipperton rode him a treat that day and steers the ship again in this contest. From gate seven he maps to settle near mid-field and should now be ready to face the rise in trip. Up in class but in top-shelf form, he can go back-to-back here.

Race 8:  No.10  UNION ARMY

The Rosehill-based UNION ARMY returns to Randwick for a fourth tilt at victory on the track and after three runs back, can make it back-to-back wins in this event. Last start, the Rich Enuff gelding was third-up and found the winning post first when he easily accounted for a BM78 Hcp, here over 1200m. He showed plenty of toe that day, putting 1.5 lengths on the 10-strong field and ran the trip in 1:09 flat. He meets similar company here and at the weights, looks the one they to hold out.

Race 7:  No.6  WAIHAHA FALLS  

John O’Shea saddles-up WAIHAHA FALLS here who is back to winning form and looks well placed here for back-to-back victories in this contest at odds. Last start, the Sacred Falls gelding was third-up when he took out a BM100, here over 1400m. Ridden by Tommy Berry, he settled back in the field and finished too strong for them, grabbing victory on the line. This is a little tougher but he has already placed twice in Listed company and boasts a strong track record, winning three times here to date. Berry has the reins again and three starts back now, he should be at his peak for this and will take beating.
