Race 7 No. 4 RHEINBERG- ($2.35)

RHEINBERG can go close in Race 7 of the day at Sale. The Ben & JD Hayes-trained galloper has had three runs since coming over from New Zealand and was a first up winner at his last preparation, winning well at Sandown ahead of Oceanique. The son of Swiss Ace then went close at his only other two starts. He stuck to the task on a fast tempo when resuming to go 2.1 lengths faster than standard, while he went 5.1 lengths faster than standard before the break. Expect him to be ready to fire in this grade.

Race 3 No 2 BOLD RESPONSE- ($19.20)

BOLD RESPONSE is worth a bit of thought in Race 3 at Sale. The Julius Sandhu-trained galloper comes into this with two runner-up performances under his belt at his current preparation. He led then was run down by Bangholme when resuming before heading to Sale and again leading before going down late to Grinzinger Abbey. That came on a Heavy deck and the son of Zoustar went hard early on. He has an edge in fitness on a number of these and should be getting towards his peak at his third run back from a spell.
