Race 8: No.3 ARTS OBJECT ($2.60 with Bet Right)

Goulburn galloper ARTS OBJECT was in great touch until her last appearance but back on the country scene today, she looks much more at home today and is capable of taking this one out. Last start, the well-bred Zoustar filly was in line for the hat-trick when she lined-up in the Group 3 Kembla Grange Classic where the competition was a just a little too strong for her that day, finishing down the track. This a is a huge drop in class today and ideally drawn in gate two, she will take beating in this company.

Race 7: No.6 ROCKET TIGER ($4.50 with Neds)

Local galloper ROCKET TIGER returns from a city assignment today and looks much better placed in this contest. Last start, the Cluster gelding took on a strong BM88 field at Randwick where he was unable to match it with them, finishing mid-field with Shaun Guymer aboard that day. He has had five starts this time in and made the podium once, two starts back when finishing second in a BM94 over 1175m at Albury. Making his Wagga debut today, Guymer sticks with him and he will find this a lot easier. Rock-hard fit after five starts back, he looks a worthy contender in this event.

Race 3: No.8 SIZZLING CAT ($7 with Ladbrokes)

The locally-trained SIZZLING CAT has found his mojo at the right time and looks well placed here to add another podium finish to his proud track record today. Last start, the Sizzling gelding came off a Class 3 win at Albury when he beat all but one home in a BM65 Hcp over the mile at Canberra. Returning to the Wagga track today, he boasts a 10-start record that features two wins and three minor placings and dropping in weight today, he will take beating here at odds.
