Race 2: Chrysalis Medispa Hcp — 12:37, 1312m
This is the race where you follow the stable and rider and don’t overcomplicate it. Alberta Bound looks the class runner on paper off 434212, and it gets the big tick in the saddle: R Wiggins rides, and he wins close to a quarter of his Townsville rides with a deep sample behind it.
Still, I’m leaning to Briginshaw as the sharper betting play. It’s 3-1 from two starts and already proven at this course: it has placed in both Townsville visits and won one of them.
