Warwick Farm Racing Tips 21 Oct 2026: Superfabulistic Again?

Overview

Superfabulistic has raced twice at Warwick Farm and won both times, and on Wednesday it returns with Rachel King aboard for a stable that has placed with more than half its runners here. That is the anchor of the card. The Waterhouse and Bott combination with King has three wins and eight placings from 11 rides together at the track, and a form line of 3-2-2-1-1-2 says it arrives in the same shape that won those two races.

Around her, the seven-race card on a Good to Soft surface gives us plenty to work with. There is a short-priced Waller maiden to open, a Benchmark 68 where the market has missed an unbeaten horse, a 2329m staying test where Zac Lloyd and Matthew Smith look the combination to follow, and a big-field Benchmark 72 to close. These Warwick Farm racing tips cover every race, with a clear position in each and the money plays at the end.

Reading the Warwick Farm card

Course form is deeper than usual for a midweek Sydney meeting. Eight of today’s runners have had three or more starts at Warwick Farm, and two of them stand out for consistency: Storm Season has placed in all three visits, and Spartus has hit the frame in three of four.

Horse Runs Wins Places Win% Place%
Spartus 4 1 3 25% 75%
Bryant 4 1 1 25% 25%
Clancy 4 0 1 0% 25%
Storm Season 3 1 3 33% 100%
Silencio Porfavor 3 0 2 0% 67%
Zale 3 0 2 0% 67%
Without Peer 3 0 1 0% 33%
Knights Armour 3 0 0 0% 0%

The riding ranks are where the real separation sits. Zac Lloyd has finished in the first three on 41 of 63 Warwick Farm rides, a strike rate nobody else on the card gets near.

Jockey Runs Wins Places Win% Place%
Zac Lloyd 63 11 41 17.5% 65.1%
Rachel King 34 7 18 20.6% 52.9%
N Rawiller 39 7 19 17.9% 48.7%
Mollie Fitzgerald 25 4 11 16.0% 44.0%
C Schofield 42 5 18 11.9% 42.9%
Tim Clark 59 11 25 18.6% 42.4%
Tommy Berry 71 12 29 16.9% 40.8%
J B McDonald 45 9 18 20.0% 40.0%

Among the trainers, Waterhouse and Bott are the benchmark. They have won with a quarter of their Warwick Farm runners, and Waller, for all that volume, wins with fewer than one in ten here.

Trainer Runs Wins Places Win% Place%
M Price & M Kent Jnr 14 2 10 14.3% 71.4%
G Waterhouse & A Bott 73 18 42 24.7% 57.5%
Michael Freedman 27 5 14 18.5% 51.9%
Matthew Smith 40 8 18 20.0% 45.0%
Annabel Neasham & Rob Archibald 47 6 21 12.8% 44.7%
Joseph Pride 41 5 18 12.2% 43.9%
C J Waller 160 11 56 6.9% 35.0%

Warwick Farm race by race

Race 1: Tab Mdn Plate, 2:15PM, 1422m

Horologist‘s form line reads 2-3, and Waller has put J B McDonald on. That pairing has six wins and 12 placings from 32 rides together at Warwick Farm, and Horologist draws barrier 3, with stablemate Geryon scratched to leave a field of eight. The market has him at $1.75 with Bet Right, which is short but fair for a runner yet to finish outside the first three.

The one to respect is All Over Harry at $4.80. All Over Harry ran second on its only start in the last three months and gets Zac Lloyd, the most reliable placegetter at this track. Social Graces, a first starter for Waterhouse and Bott with Tim Clark aboard, is the wildcard: Clark and that stable have won nine of their 30 rides together here.

Horologist to win, and a key in any multi. All Over Harry for the exacta.

Race 2: Precise Air (Bm68), 2:50PM, 1531m

Is anyone taking Prince Of Verona seriously? Two starts in the last 90 days, two wins, and it still sits at $9.50 with Unibet behind five others in the betting. Zac Lloyd rides for Annabel Neasham and Rob Archibald from barrier 6, and a runner on a two-race winning streak stepping into a Benchmark 68 should not be this price.

Our Emperor heads the market at $3.70 with Bet Right. Our Emperor won its only previous Warwick Farm start and has Tim Clark for Waterhouse and Bott, but its two runs in the window produced a seventh and an eighth. Rumdabar at $4.00 is the other threat, with McDonald on and a fourth from its only recent start. Dignifying and Devil Wings each won their only run in the window and are tricky to weigh up.

Prince Of Verona each-way at the price, with a small saver on Our Emperor.

Race 3: Toyota Forklifts (Bm72), 3:25PM, 2329m

Zac Lloyd and Matthew Smith have teamed up eight times at Warwick Farm for four wins and six placings, and the partnership’s last winner here came on 5 October. Today they combine on Zonkstar, who has won two of three starts in the last 90 days and carries a 1-6-1 finish to its recent figures. Zonkstar jumps from barrier 2, which matters over 2329m, where saving ground through the first turn is half the job.

Botanical Boy is the danger. It won its only Warwick Farm start in a Benchmark 72 on 23 September and has placed in three of four runs since late July. It also carries top weight, though, and from barrier 5 Tommy Berry will need luck in a field of 12. Backhander, two wins from five recent runs, is the each-way roughie for the Neasham stable.

Win bet on Zonkstar. Botanical Boy in the exacta.

Race 4: Ole Kirk @ Vinery Stud (Bm72), 4:00PM, 1094m

A 1094m sprint with 12 runners and no clear leader in the betting. Triple Yes is the form horse: two wins and three placings from four starts in the last 90 days, and a 2-8-1-1 line that says it is still on the way up. Mollie Fitzgerald rides from barrier 6, a handy draw for a runner that can hold a position.

Spartus is the course horse. It has been placed in three of four Warwick Farm runs and won one of them, and its recent form reads 1-2-2-1-4-5. Barrier 9 means it will need the speed to be on. Confidentiality, with a 1-1-2-4-2 record for Pride, is consistent but untested at the track.

Triple Yes to win, with Spartus each-way as the course specialist play.

Race 5: Schweppes (Bm78), 4:35PM, 1531m

Hard to have a strong view here. Elson Boy won its only Warwick Farm start and broke through last time with a win after a string of unplaced runs, but its four runs in the window average out at ninth, so the recent win could be the outlier as easily as the turning point. Hanau has a win from two starts here and Tommy Berry on, but has finished outside the top three in all three recent runs.

If forced, Elson Boy, because it is the one runner in the race to prove it can win at this track at this point in its campaign. Watch race, small win bet at most.

Race 6: Irresistible Pools & Spas (Bm72), 5:10PM, 1750m

Superfabulistic has been to Warwick Farm twice and won both, banking $56,800 between them. It has finished in the top three in each of its last six starts, with two wins among its last three, and its one run in the last 90 days produced a second. Rachel King rides for Waterhouse and Bott, and that combination has placed in eight of its 11 rides here with three winners.

From barrier 5 in a field of 18 entries, King can find a spot just behind the speed and wait. Superfabulistic has the best course record in the race and is in form. That is a strong combination in a Benchmark 72.

The danger is Storm Season. It has been placed in all three of its Warwick Farm starts, winning one, and Dylan Gibbons won on it here on 5 October for Price and Kent, a stable that hits the frame with seven in ten of its Warwick Farm runners. Storm Season is drawn 7. Doradus, with two wins and four placings from five recent runs, and Chief Of War, placed in all four recent starts, round out the main chances.

Win bet on Superfabulistic, with Storm Season the key saver in the exacta and trifecta.

Race 7: Asahi Super Dry (Bm72), 5:45PM, 1422m

Regal Problem against Silencio Porfavor: one wins, the other places. Regal Problem has won two of its three starts in the last 90 days and finished in the first three in all three, and Pride has it in form off a 1-1-4 finish to its recent line. N Rawiller rides from barrier 12. The jockey and stable have yet to win together here from eight tries, which is the one knock.

Silencio Porfavor has placed in all four recent starts without winning, and in two of three Warwick Farm runs. A K Riddell rides for Matthew Smith from barrier 19, so it will need the race to be run hard to get into it. Beneath The Rock, a winner on its only visit here and of its only run in the window, has J B McDonald and is the main danger to the pick.

Regal Problem to win. Silencio Porfavor each-way.

Where the money goes

NAP: Superfabulistic (Race 6, 5:10PM). Unbeaten at the track from two starts, top three in each of its last six, and Rachel King rides for the stable with the best strike rate here.

Value: Prince Of Verona (Race 2, 2:50PM), $9.50 with Unibet. Two starts in the last three months, two wins, and the most reliable placegetter at the track in the saddle. The market has gone elsewhere.

Banker: Horologist (Race 1, 2:15PM). A 2-3 form line and the shortest price on the card at $1.75 with Bet Right. The leg to start a multi.

Each-way: Silencio Porfavor (Race 7, 5:45PM). Four placings from four recent runs and two from three at Warwick Farm. A wide draw is the only reason it is not higher on this list.

Course angle: Zac Lloyd for Matthew Smith. Four wins from eight rides together here, and Lloyd places on nearly two of every three Warwick Farm rides. Lloyd rides Zonkstar in Race 3.

The quaddie runs from Race 4 to Race 7, and with Superfabulistic in Race 6 it is one leg where you can go narrow.
