BEST BET 🏆
Race 3 No. 6 SENORITA DOROTEA – ($2.90)
We are typically loath to tip into any horse who do things wrong in their races. We will make an exception, however, for SENORITA DOROTEA who often misses the kick. She comes out of a race we respect, and Senorita Dorotea was simply sensational after making a mess of the start. The mare settled towards the tail for Keshaw Dhurun who found cover at the tail once the start had been blown. Senorita Dorotea was full of herself early with Dhurun working into the clear upon straightening. Senorita Dorotea let down superbly to the line as the field ran sharp overall time off of cheap early splits to the leaders.
NEXT BEST 🥈
Race 2 No. 2 CUT THE TALK – ($5.50)
Tim Crosby takes the claim of Taj Dyson aboard his consistent galloper CUT THE TALK on Saturday. Cut The Talk allowed Street Parade to stride a few lengths clear of him in the run over 1100 metres here two runs back. Ladqar Ramoly got into his work on the gelding upon straightening with Cut The Talk gradually overhauling the leader. Neither horse could withstand the late onslaught of My Bella Mae with Cut The Talk splitting the trifecta for second place. Since tracked Bisector into the run before getting to that filly late to record his latest win over this track and distance. Dyson can follow that pair again before producing his mount with their run deep into the straight.
BEST VALUE 💰
Race 9 No. 11 CISCOJOE – ($9)
We landed CISCOJOE as a good winner here last start with our Value Bet selection and see no reason not to attempt the same again. Bernie Miller had his horse fitter for the three runs back this time in while applying the winkers first-time. There appeared to be plenty of pressure up front on paper and the race worked out with Mountain Ash providing a tearaway leader. Paddy Carbery allowed Ciscojoe to find his feet early before being the first to move. They made a long run early to set out after the leader before claiming the lead inside the furlong. Ciscojoe packed plenty as the challenges came late to pull out a gutsy win. Will only strip fitter and strikes a similar field whilst staying to track and distance.
