The Mick Price and Michael Kent Jnr-trained galloper led over the 1600m that evening before just going down late behind Crimson Light, while there was a bit of a gap back to Skinny Dip, who has since come out and won. Cautious Interest will strip fitter for this run and has attracted plenty of support in the betting. She should be tough to beat.

RUCKMAN might be worth a bit of thought in the final race of the day. The four-year-old was a debut winner at Wangaratta over the 1000m on January 19 and came from well back to win running away from Killawarra Lass. The four-year-old overcame a wide run that day and might be up to the step to 0-64, while he draws to save ground from the inside barrier.
