Race 6 No. 6 TASS- ($4.60)

This looks to be a suitable assignment for TASS. The Ciaron Maher-trained galloper was solid in her early runs this preparation in strong form races before jumping up sharply in trip from the 1400m to the 2000m last time. The 2000m race was at Caulfield and she went hard early on before fading late into 7th position behind Desperado. 1600m suits better and the daughter of Kingman draws ideally in barrier 2.

Race 5 No. 3 BONS TO RICHES- ($4.80)

BONS TO RICHES can just about go on with the job in Race 5. The three-year-old tackled the 1200m at Pakenham on April 18, settling handy before arriving in time to edge out Money Team. He rises from Maiden grade for this but was strong over the closing stages to go 1.2 lengths slower than standard benchmark, which is more than four lengths better than the next best last start figures of any runner and four lengths better than the class average for this race. The locally trained galloper can lead or sit leaders back and comes into this at his third run.

Race 8 No.8 CARISBROOK – ($4.80)

CARISBROOK has hit a bit of a run of form and the six-year-old shapes as a solid prospect in the final race of the evening. He was a dominant four-length winner in BenchMark 58 grade over the 2025m two starts ago before tackling a BM70 Saturday race at Caulfield on April 27, finishing runner-up behind Albanian I Am. He settled handy and came out wide on the turn. The son of Darci Brahma comes back to Cranbourne and is likely to push across from the barrier. He can stick on strong at the business end.
