That was just his sixth race start and today, things could be a little different as Zac Purton takes the reins for the first time and the four-year-old comes up with barrier four today. He maps to settle near mid-field with cover and with a trouble-free run here, he looks poised to shake off that maiden status and record his first win today.

Race 7: No.3 SENOR TOBA ($21 with Bet Right)
The Caspar Fownes-trained SENOR TOBA is second-up today and ticks enough boxes here to warrant plenty of consideration at odds in this contest. Last start, the Toronado gelding resumed off a 16-week break and wasn’t disgraced when finishing mid-field in the Group 2 Sha Tin Trophy behind California Spangle. Keith Yeung had his debut ride on the galloper that day who was beaten just 2.5 lengths on the line. Ideally drawn in gate two today, the six-year-old is already a two-time winner when second-up and a three-time winner at the track. He is well ‘overs’ here and an each-way ticket looks the go in this contest.

Last start, the Street Boss gelding resumed from the season-ending break and on fresh legs, finished a creditable fourth (of 13) in a Class 2 Hcp, here over 1650m. Brenton Avdulla will pilot the six-year-old for the first time who is already a winner when second-up and has recorded all five career wins on the Sha Tin track. With a trouble-free run here, he is capable of figuring here today and is well worth an each-way ticket in this contest.
