The Chris Waller-trained I AM JADE is third-up today and looks the one to beat here. Last start, the I Am Invincible filly beat all but one home in a 1200m Maiden Plate on this track. She covered her last 600m, 3.2 lengths quicker than benchmark, the best last-start effort here and posted the fastest final 800m to 200m sectionals as well. Regan Bayliss sticks with her today and the extra 200m will suit. Fitter for two ruins back, she looks the goods in this contest.

The Maher & Eustace-trained SEMANA is second-up today and boasting an impressive resume, looks a solid chance of playing a hand in the finish here. Last start, the Winning Rupert filly wasn’t disgraced when finishing fifth (of 12) in a BM72 Hcp over 1100m at Warwick Farm. Beaten just over a length that day, she ran the trip out, 2.6 lengths quicker than benchmark, setting a new personal best and the best last-start effort in this field. Brenton Avdulla has the reins today as she gets all the favours from gate one. Fitter for one run back, she looks right in the mix here.

Locally-trained by Paul Murray, VIKING POWER has recently found his mojo and he looks in the mix at each-way odds today. Last start, the Ready For Victory gelding appreciated the rise in trip when he clobbered a BM58 field over the mile at Albury. Carrying 59kgs on a rain affected track, he ran the trip out, 3 lengths slower than benchmark, still the best in this line-up. Coming from mid-field on the turn, he put 2.5 lengths on them over the line as he ran the fastest final 800m to 200m sectionals for the event. Tyler Schiller tries his luck in the saddle today and with a trouble-free run here, he could surprise at each-way odds.
