Race 3 No. 1 ANOTHER WIL- ($1.85)

Short quote but ANOTHER WIL can get the job done in Race 3. The Maher/Eustace gelding debuted at Werribee on June 8 and settled in a midfield spot before producing the fastest late splits to land just half a length behind Falcon Of Malta as the exacta horse, while there was a big gap back to 3rd. The son of Street Boss has been well supported in the betting and should take improvement from his first start. Matt Cartwright rides and just needs to find a spot early on from the wide barrier.

NEXT BEST 🥈 (WIN)

Race 2 No 7 XIAO LONG BAO ($4.60)

XIAO LONG BAO should be hard to beat in Race 2. The Clayton Douglas-trained galloper has had the three career runs and was a bit unlucky over the 1117m here two starts ago before heading to Mornington and sticking on ok for 3rd on the Heavy 10 track over the 1200m behind Our Red Morning. The son of Ilovethiscity went 1.2 lengths slower than standard at his most recent run, which is six lengths better than the best figure that any horse has produced. He has set a better figure in all three of his runs have produced. From barrier 4, he gets his chance to break the Maiden.
