Race 6 No. 2 LEDECKY’S DREAM- ($2.15)
LEDECKY’S DREAM should be hard to beat in Race 6. The Peter Moody-trained filly has won two of her past three and tackled a BenchMark 70 at Moonee Valley over the 1200m on March 5, leading before just fading late into 4th position. This is much easier, while the daughter of Starspangledbanner ticks boxes form barrier 4 with the 4kg claimer, Emily Pozman, to ride. She has made a very promising start to her career and is one from two for the stable.

Race 3 No.1 GEORGE THE GIANT – ($4.50)
GEORGE THE GIANT can break the duck in Race 3. The Henry Dwyer-trained galloper showed improvement at his most recent start when stepping up to the 1400m at Ballarat, leading before just going down late behind Secret Location. The four-year-old had excuses in his two previous career starts. He went two lengths slower than standard at his recent run, which is six lengths better than the next best last start benchmark figures of any runner and better than what any horse in this race has produced. He should be peaking at his third run this time in and can lead or box seat from barrier 2.

Race 4 No. 8 IN THE BOAT – ($4.50)
SEGMENT stays under notice after a last start 3rd at Sandown over the 1400m on March 8. He jumped awkwardly that day and was keen early but stuck on well behind Irish Crickets to go set a personal best by going two lengths faster than standard benchmark. A similar performance will be good enough to take this out, while the son of Overshare should enjoy a nice time of it in transit from barrier 5.
