All-Star Mile Nominations – When Are They Released?
Fans vote for their top 10 horses with those runners being accepted to run. An additional five wildcards will added – this includes the winner of the Group 1 Futurity Stakes (1400m) and Group 2 Blamey Stakes (1600m). An All-Star Mile wildcard panel will select three more wildcards.
The All-Star Mile is run at Flemington, Caulfield and The Valley with each of the major tracks taking turns hosting the rich mile event each year.

Connections and racing talent will celebrate at a barrier draw function with a representative for each horse randomly drawing their runner’s starting gate. This type of barrier draw function is only held for the biggest races on the racing calendar each year.
