The barrier draw for the 2022 Black Caviar Lightning will be announced on Wednesday, February 16 at 9:30am.
Sprinters are allocated barriers randomly which is the standard practice for almost all Victorian thoroughbred races.

Is There A Barrier Draw Bias in the Black Caviar Lightning?
With the race taking place down the Flemington straight, it does not appear that any bias exists in the Black Caviar Lightning.
