Nominations for the 2024 Queensland Derby will take place at 11:00am on May 07, 2024.

The Queensland Derby is a 2400m staying race restricted to horses aged three years old. It is run using set weights conditions with colts and geldings carrying 57kg and fillies with 55kg.

Quite a high number of New South Wales and Victorian trainers will send their horses north to compete in the Queensland Derby.
