Ascot Racing Tips 3 Nov 2026: Please Mizter Four Straight?

Overview

Please Mizter has won three races in a row, and Lucy Fiore, who wins more than one in five of her Ascot rides, keeps the ride in the last. If there is a horse on this card that you can bet with confidence, it is that one, and it shapes the whole of today’s Ascot racing tips.

Ascot runs nine races on a Good track, from 11:25AM to 5:10PM local time, while the eastern states stop for the Melbourne Cup. The feature is the Burgess Queen Stakes over 1400m at 4:30PM, where Treasured Legacy and Perfume Princess both arrive with two wins from four runs this campaign. The Parnham family has its usual heavy presence, with Chris, B and S Parnham riding and N D Parnham training nine runners. None of the races were priced by the bookmakers when this was written, so the reads below come from form, course records and the people involved.

What Ascot gives us today

A handful of horses have real Ascot form, though wins are scarce among them.

Horse Runs Wins Places Win% Place%
Defending 7 1 3 14.3% 42.9%
Dug Another Hole 6 0 3 0.0% 50.0%
Jedi Dream 5 1 2 20.0% 40.0%
Caporetto 5 0 2 0.0% 40.0%
Ruthless Angel 5 0 2 0.0% 40.0%
Tribal Ruler 5 1 1 20.0% 20.0%

Nickelplay has placed in all four Ascot starts and Mistress Of War has a win and two placings from four, both just short of the sample for a percentage.

The riding numbers are much clearer. Two jockeys stand apart.

Jockey Runs Wins Places Win% Place%
Chris Parnham 123 28 58 22.8% 47.2%
Lucy Fiore 150 31 69 20.7% 46.0%
B Parnham 134 18 51 13.4% 38.1%
Holly Nottle 164 19 58 11.6% 35.4%
C Johnston-Porter 128 10 44 7.8% 34.4%
Trainer Runs Wins Places Win% Place%
D L Morton 79 13 38 16.5% 48.1%
Mitchell Pateman 59 14 27 23.7% 45.8%
T M Andrews 40 8 18 20.0% 45.0%
Luke Fernie 62 9 25 14.5% 40.3%
Michael Grantham 62 13 22 21.0% 35.5%
N D Parnham 133 12 40 9.0% 30.1%

N D Parnham sends out more Ascot runners than anyone, but D L Morton and Michael Grantham convert better. Morton has Pucker Up in Race 5, and Grantham has Treasured Legacy in the Queen Stakes.

Ascot race by race

Race 1: Schweppes (Rs0ly), 11:25AM, 1100m

Official Business won at Ascot on 14 October with Chris Parnham aboard, and the pair are back together for the opener. The horse has placed in all five runs in the past three months, winning two, and the latest three read 1-1-3. Topweight of 60kg is the price of that consistency, but it is a weak restricted race and barrier 1 means no ground lost.

Juniper is the danger, with a win and three placings from three recent runs. Supersmash has won two of five this campaign and gets in light with Natika Riordan. Official Business to win.

Race 2: MC Equine Surfaces Hcp (C1), 12:34PM, 1000m

Lucy Fiore on Ace Queen Suited is the booking that matters. Fiore places in almost half of her Ascot rides, and Ace Queen Suited comes off a second at the latest start, with form of 7-3-1-4-2 since a spell. Over 1000m with a capable rider, that profile is hard to oppose in a Class 1.

Flying Swagman has won one of two runs this campaign and Golden Chatter has a win in the recent form line, but both have been less consistent. Silver Livia is scratched. Win bet on Ace Queen Suited.

Race 3: Bisley Workwear Mdn, 1:14PM, 1200m

Sixteen maidens, and several have shown something. Our pick is Mystic Smile, who ran second at the latest start and gets B Parnham for T M Andrews, a stable that wins with one in five of its Ascot runners. Barrier 7 is fine in a field this size.

Brave Move, from the N D Parnham stable with Chris Parnham riding, ran third last time after a second and a fourth, and is the main danger. Morikawa also ran second last start. This is a race to keep the stakes small. Mystic Smile each-way.

Race 4: Choices By Dallimores Hcp (C3), 1:58PM, 1800m

Does Mistress Of War‘s Ascot record beat More Heroic‘s current form? Mistress Of War has a win and two placings from four Ascot starts, but has not placed in either run this campaign. More Heroic won at the latest start, has won one of two Ascot starts, and S McGruddy rides at a sensible weight.

We side with the form horse. More Heroic to win, with Mistress Of War the saver if the track record kicks in.

Race 5: Swan Draught Hcp (C3), 2:38PM, 1400m

Three scratchings, Flaming Ronda, Playing Around and Quick Cookie, cut this to eight. Pucker Up has had three starts for two seconds and a fourth, placed on the only Ascot visit, and gets B Parnham for D L Morton, a stable that places with almost half of its Ascot runners. At 54kg, Pucker Up is well weighted for a Class 3.

Producimus has won two of five this campaign, including the latest start, and is the obvious threat. Rising Fame also won last time and has only 52.5kg. Pucker Up is the banker on the card.

Race 6: Consilium Corporate Hcp (C1), 3:15PM, 1600m

Bourbonontherocks has three starts for a third, a second and a win, so the progression is exactly what you want to see. S O’Donnell rides for MS J Erkelens. Dixie Doo has more ability on paper and has Chris Parnham aboard, but finished sixth last start and has not won in three Ascot runs.

Alot Of Desire is the other one, a winner at the second of two starts. Bourbonontherocks to win; Alot Of Desire for the exacta.

Race 7: Hunter Manning Recruitment Hcp (C3), 3:50PM, 1200m

Two horses in good form, both live. Wiluna Lass has won two of three runs this campaign and placed in the other, with a latest second. Spanish Armada has placed in all four this campaign, winning two, and won the latest. Natika Riordan rides Wiluna Lass for Josh Brown; Jefferson Tsang rides Spanish Armada for J P Taylor.

Hasani carries 60kg and finished sixth last start after a spell. We take Wiluna Lass to win, but Spanish Armada is the better each-way value of the pair and is our value play on the day.

Race 8: Tabtouch – Burgess Queen Stakes, 4:30PM, 1400m

The Queen Stakes is the race of the day at Ascot, and it comes down to two on the rise. Treasured Legacy has placed in all four runs this campaign, winning two, and her form line reads 9-1-5-1-2. Chris Parnham rides for Michael Grantham, a stable that wins with more than a fifth of its Ascot runners. Barrier 9 is workable at 1400m, and her consistency is the best on the card.

Perfume Princess is the one who can beat her. She has won her last two, has two wins from four runs this campaign, and won on her only Ascot start. Chloe Azzopardi rides for Simon Miller. If she leads and gets an easy run, she could be hard to catch. Angel Express also won two of three recent runs, before a sixth last start, and Cassandra has placed in all three of her runs this campaign.

Four of the eighteen listed have no rider yet, so the field could still change. Check before you bet. Treasured Legacy to win, Perfume Princess each-way. A trifecta with Angel Express and Cassandra in third covers the most likely results.

Race 9: Brooks Hire (Rs0ly), 5:10PM, 1500m

Please Mizter has won the last three and has three wins and a placing from five runs this campaign. Lucy Fiore rides for Luke Fernie, and they are the best combination at Ascot today: Fiore with more than 30 Ascot winners, and Fernie placing with four in ten Ascot runners. From barrier 6, there are no excuses.

Exceltrain has placed twice in four runs this campaign and Defending has a win and three placings from seven Ascot starts. Both are each-way chances behind the favourite. Please Mizter is the NAP.

Where the money goes

NAP: Please Mizter (Race 9, 5:10PM). Three straight wins and the best rider at the track. Anything less than another win would be a surprise.

Value: Spanish Armada (Race 7, 3:50PM). Placed in all four runs this campaign with two wins, including the latest. Unpriced when this was written, and likely to start a bigger price than Wiluna Lass.

Banker: Pucker Up (Race 5, 2:38PM). Two seconds from three starts, a placing on the only Ascot run and a D L Morton stable that places with almost half its runners here.

Each-way: Perfume Princess (Race 8, 4:30PM). Two straight wins and a win on the only Ascot start. In a big field that may still change, the place money is the safer play.

Course angle: Lucy Fiore. 31 wins and 69 placings from 150 Ascot rides. She rides Ace Queen Suited in Race 2 and Please Mizter in Race 9, both of whom we like.

Treasured Legacy against Perfume Princess could be a rivalry that follows these two through the summer at Ascot.
